6. Castor Oil

Besides being great for your hair, castor oil also helps get rid of dark spots and keeps your skin soft and hydrated.

Rub a little oil with Qtip on the dark spots after you wake up, right before you step in for a bath or even overnight. With repeated use, you will notice the spots fading away!

7. Horseradish

For this home remedy, apply some horseradish glue on the dark spots for 15 minutes. Rinse with tepid water and polish off with your preferred serum and lotion.

Repeat the process about 2 to 3 times each week.

On the off chance that you need a more forceful cure, mix a bit of ground horseradish about 5 inches in length, along with 1/2 a cup of apple cider vinegar. Let the mixture rest in a glass jar for 14 days or so, and don’t forget to shake the same every day.
Once fourteen days have passed, start applying the horseradish mixture on the affected area for a month, and you will notice a great change.

8. Masoor Dal

Masoor dal, that is, the red lentils, are also used to get rid of pigmentation. Use masoor dal as a mask to get results.

What you will need to do for this particular remedy is, soak a handful of masoor dal overnight and make a fine paste out of it the following day. Apply the paste as a mask and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Wash it off, use a toner and moisturise as usual.

9. Lemon

Lemons are beneficial because it is rich in Vitamin C, which works splendidly in removing dark spots.

It is never advisable to use lemon juice without diluting, so the best way to go about using it to remove pigmentation is by using it in a mask. Mix a teaspoon of lemon juice in a teaspoon of raw honey and apply it over the affected areas.

Please wait for 15 minutes, wash it off and moisturise your face for best results.

10. Tomatoes

That’s right, a little bit of tomato juice will reduce those dark spots over time. Tomatoes have lycopene, and lycopene will lighten those spots wonderfully.

Take a bit of tomato juice and apply it all over your face or on the affected spots. Wait for 15-20 minutes, wash it off and use a gentle cleanser along with a good toner and moisturiser for the best results. Consuming tomatoes also help.

11. Red Onion

Red onion is a beautiful way to get rid of dark spots. One way is to look for creams in markets that cater to your red onion needs, but since we’re focussing on healthier and more natural home remedies, what you can do is, grate a little bit of red onion and apply its juice to your skin, wait for a few minutes and wash it off with cool water.
