10 Maggi Recipes You Must Try Out at Home

1. Maggi Bhel

This crunchy and mouth-watering dish is a perfect evening snack and complements your tea.

Time to prepare: 10 minutes

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • Two packets of Maggi
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • One onion (chopped)
  • Two tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp coriander (chopped)
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • One green chili (chopped)
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Steps To Prepare:

  • Heat a kadhai.
  • Crush 2 Maggi cakes and put them in the kadhai. Kindly ensure that the crushed pieces are of similar sizes.
  • Make some space in the center of the kadhai.
  • Put 1 tbsp oil. Keep the flame medium.
  • Stir the crushed Maggi on a medium flame till it turns golden.
  • If the noodles are still raw, take 3 tbsps of water and add it to the kadhai. Then, quickly cover the kadhai.
  • Let it stay covered for two minutes or so. You can turn off the flame.
  • Transfer these noodles into a mixing bowl.
  • Mix the noodles very well and make space in the centre.
  • Put the chopped onion, tomatoes, coriander, chilli flakes, salt as per taste, and lemon juice.
  • Mix all the ingredients well.

2. Maggi Manchurian

A restaurant-style dish. You have got to try this out.

Time to prepare: 30 minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • Maggi noodles (3 pack)
  • Maggi tastemaker (2 packets)
  • One onion
  • Two green chillies
  • Six garlic cloves
  • ¼ cup red capsicum
  • ¼ cup yellow capsicum
  • ¼ cup green capsicum
  • 1/3 tsp red chilli powder
  • ¼ cup onion
  • ¼ cup spring onion
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 2 tbsp rice flour (optional)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp green chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp red chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp schezwan chutney
  • Cooking oil
  • Salt to taste.

Steps To Prepare:

  1. For the Maggi balls: 
  • Add 1.5 cups of water to a pan and boil the water.
  • Once it starts boiling, add 2 Maggi noodles.
  • Cook the noodles on a high flame for two minutes.
  • When the noodles cook, turn off the flame and let it cool.
  • Transfer the Maggi to a mixing bowl.
  • Add onion, spring onion, cornflour, rice flour (optional), red chili powder, Maggi tastemaker, salt as per taste, schezwan chutney, and mix it well.
  • Crush one pack of raw noodles.
  • Apply water on your palms and make a ball with the Maggi mixture.
  • Make the equal and small size of mixture balls.
  • Coat all the Manchurian balls with the crushed noodles.
  • To fry, heat oil in a pan.
  • Check the temperature of your oil, and once heated, keep on a medium flame.
  • Now fry the Maggi balls. Keep turning the Maggi balls till it becomes golden brown.

2. For the Manchurian sauce:

  • Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan.
  • Saute green chili and garlic for a few seconds. 
  • Add capsicum and green chilies.
  • Fry it for half a minute on medium flame.
  • Add 1/3 tsp of red chili powder.
  • Add salt as per taste.
  • Mix it well.
  • Add 1 tbsp of white vinegar.
  • Add 1 tbsp of green chili sauce.
  • Add 1 tbsp of soy sauce.
  • Add 1 tbsp of red chili sauce.
  • Add 1 tbsp of tomato ketchup.
  • Add 1 tbsp of schezwan chutney.
  • Mix it well.
  • In a separate small bowl, take one tbsp cornflour and mix it with 2 tbsps of water.
  • Now add this cornflour and stir the sauce.
  • Add ¼ cup of water.
  • Cook it on a high flame and let it simmer.
  • Add spring onion and turn off the gas.
  • Place the Manchurian balls in the sauce and mix.
  • Sprinkle some green onion on top.

3. Makhani Maggi

You have had dal makhani. But have you ever tried Maggi makhani? If not, you should check it out.

Time to prepare: 20 minutes

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • Maggi noodles (1 pack)
  • Maggi tastemaker (1 pack)
  • One medium tomato
  • 2 – 3 cloves of garlic
  • ½ inch ginger
  • 4 – 5 cashew nuts
  • Four red chilies (preferably Kashmiri)
  • 2 – 3 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp Kitchen King/Garam Masala powder
  • ¼ tsp Chaat Masala
  • 1 tbsp butter/ 1 tsp ghee
  • 1 tsp Kasuri methi
  • 1 & ½ tbsp cream/malai
  • A handful of chopped coriander
  • Water (as required)
  • Salt (as per taste)

Steps to prepare:

  •  Take ½ to ¾ cup water in a pan.
  • Add one medium-sized roughly chopped tomato, 2 to 3 cloves of garlic and half-inch ginger, 4 to 5 cashew nuts, four dried red chilies.
  • Cover the pan and let it cook at a medium flame for ten minutes.
  • Let it cool down.
  • After it cools down, transfer it to your mixer/grinder jar and grind it to a smooth paste.
  • In a pan, heat 2 to 3 tbsps oil and add the puree. Stir it for a minute.
  • Add ½ tsp Kitchen King/Garam Masala powder, ¼ tsp Chaat Masala, Maggi tastemaker, salt as per taste, and a little water.
  • Cover the pan and cook it on a low flame till the oil separates from the sides.
  •  Add one tbsp butter, one tsp Kasuri methi, 1 & ½ tbsp malai, and stir it.
  • In another pan, heat ¾ cup water and boil the Maggi noodles till it becomes soft.
  • Add this Maggi to your makhani and cook it on a medium flame for a minute.
  • Your yummy Makhani Maggi is ready!

4. Cheesy Maggi Bread Pockets

Time to prepare: 30 minutes

Serves: 5 

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil 
  • 1 Medium Chopped onion 
  • 1/4 cup chopped carrot 
  • 1-2 chopped green chilies 
  • 1/4 cup green peas 
  • 1 tsp red chili powder 
  • 1 cup water 
  • Maggi tastemaker 
  • 50 gm processed cheese or cheddar cheese 
  • 50 gm mozzarella cheese 
  • 1-2 tbsp all-purpose flour 
  • 10-11 white bread slices 
  • Cooking oil for frying 
  • Salt to taste

Steps to prepare:

  • Heat 2 tbsp cooking oil in a pan.
  • Add one medium-sized chopped onion and sauté on a high flame.
  • Add ¼ cup carrot and sauté for a minute or so.
  • Add one to two chopped green chillis, ¼ cup green peas, 1 tsp red chili powder, salt as per taste, and stir it.
  • Add 1 cup water, Maggi tastemaker, and Maggi noodles. Cook the noodles.
  • Keep it aside in a bowl.
  • Once the noodles cool down, add 50gm mozzarella cheese, 50gm processed cheese, and mix it.
  • Mix 2 tbsps of water with 3 tbsps of water and make a paste.
  • Take 10 to 12 bread slices and trim the sides.
  • Using a rolling pin, flatten the bread. 
  • Place some Maggi stuffing on one side of the bread.
  • Apply the maida paste on the corners of the bread and fold it.
  • Similarly, make the other pockets.
  • In a pan, heat cooking oil and deep fry the pockets till golden brown on a medium flame.
  • Serve with ketchup.

5. Maggi Frankie

Time to prepare: 30 minutes

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • Onion – 2 Sliced
  • Green Chili – 2 
  • Salt – 1 tsp.
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 1 tsp.
  • Vinegar – 1 tbsp.
  • Oil – 1 tbsp.
  • Jeera – 1 tsp.
  • Onion – 1 sliced
  • Capsicum – ½ 
  • Salt – to taste
  • Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tsp.
  • Frankie Masala – 2 tsp./ Chat Masala 1 tsp, and 1 tsp. Red Chili Powder
  • Ketchup – 1 tbsp.
  • Sugar – pinch
  • Coriander Leaves – 1 tbsp.
  • Chilli flakes – 1 tsp.
  • Vinegar – ½ tsp.
  • Maggi – 2 packets
  • Water 
  • Roti – 5
  • Butter – 5 tsp.
  • Green Chutney
  • Cheese Slice – 5
  • Cabbage Shredded – 1 cup
  • Ketchup – 1 tsp.

Steps to prepare:

  • Take two sliced onions in a bowl.
  • Add two chopped green chilies, one tsp salt, one cup cold water, one tsp powdered sugar, one tbsp vinegar. Mix it and let it rest for five minutes in the fridge.

For the Frankie:

  • Take a wok and heat it.
  • Add two tbsps. Oil and heat it.
  • Add jeera seeds, onion (half, sliced), and green capsicum and stir it.
  • Then add one tsp salt, a little ginger garlic paste, and stir it.
  • Add one tsp. Frankie masala (if you don’t have it at home, add Chaat Masala and Red chili powder)
  • Add one tbsp tomato ketchup, little sugar, one tbsp. coriander leaves, chili flakes, and few drops of vinegar. (You can substitute vinegar with lemon juice)
  • Stir and cook it for a minute.
  • Add two Maggi noodles with a little water and cook it till done.
  • Add one packet Maggi tastemaker and cook it for another minute.

For Parathas:

  • Take ½ cup maida and ½ cup atta and mix them both. Make thin rotis with this.
  • Fry with butter till it is golden on both sides on medium flame.
  • Smear green chutney on the paratha.
  • Place the Maggi on it. Then place raw cabbage. Then add onion and green chill mixture soaked in vinegar.
  • Sprinkle a little Frankie masala on top.
  • If you like cheese, you can place it on top.
  • Drizzle tomato ketchup on it and roll the paratha.
  • Voila! The Maggi Frankie is ready!

6. Maggi Cheese Pizza

Time to prepare: 20 minutes

Serves: 6

Ingredients:

  • Maggi – 2 packets
  • Water – 1 ½ cup
  • Fresh coriander – 2 tbsps.
  • Corn flour – 2 tbsps.
  • Oil – 2 tbsps.
  • Pizza Sauce – 3 tbsps.
  • Mozzarella Cheese – ½ cup
  • Toppings – Vegetables – ¼ cup
  • Pizza Herbs & Chili Flakes – ½ tsp.

Steps To Prepare:

  • Prepare Maggi by boiling it and adding a tastemaker.
  • Add chopped coriander to it.
  • Add two tbsps cornflour/rice flour. Mix it well with a fork.
  • Heat a pan or tava.
  • Add one tbsp oil and spread it with tissue paper.
  • Place the Maggi on this pan and spread it evenly.
  • Drizzle one tbsp oil on top on both sides of the Maggi on medium flame.
  • Evenly spread pizza sauce on this Maggi.
  • Add mozzarella cheese and spread it evenly.
  • Place some onions, tomatoes, capsicum, or corn. (You can use toppings of your choice).
  • Cover the pan with a lid and cook for four to five minutes on a medium flame.
  • Sprinkle some oregano, red chili flakes, or mixed herbs.
  • Your Maggi pizza is ready. Slice it up!

7. White Sauce Maggi

Time to prepare: 20 minutes

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • Two packets Masala Maggi
  • 5 cups water to boil Maggi
  • Two tablespoons oil
  • One teaspoon chopped garlic
  • One teaspoon chili flakes
  • One teaspoon oregano
  • ¼ cup carrots thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup capsicum thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup yellow bell peppers thinly sliced
  • Two teaspoons refined flour/maida
  • 1 cup (240ml) cold milk
  • One cheese slice
  • Salt to taste

Steps to prepare:

  • Boil five cups of water in a pan.
  • Add two packets of Maggi.
  • Cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes till it is 80% cooked.
  • Drain excess water and keep it aside.
  •  Heat olive oil in a pan.
  • Add garlic, red chili flakes, or oregano and sauté it.
  • Add ¼ cup carrot, ¼ cup red, green, and yellow capsicum, and stir it. (Veggies as per your choice)
  • Add 2 tbsps. Maida and stir it for one to two minutes.
  • Add 1 cup (240 ml) cold milk and stir it continuously for one to two minutes.
  • Add salt as per taste and stir. Adjust the milk to cheese ratio as per your preference.
  • Add one slice of cheese and Maggi tastemaker and stir.
  • Place the Maggi noodles and stir well.
  • Tada! White sauce Maggi is ready.

8. Chinese Maggi

Time to prepare: 15 minutes

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

For Boiling Maggi :

  • 3 cups water
  • Two-pack Instant Maggi Noodles
  • 1 tsp. Oil

For making Chinese style sauce:

  • 2 tbsp. Oil
  • 1 tsp. Garlic, chopped
  • One no Fresh Red chili, chopped OR Green chili
  • One no medium Onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Carrot, julienne
  • 1/4 cup capsicum 
  • Cooked Maggi
  • Two-pack Instant Maggi masala
  • 1 tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. Vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Chili sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. Black pepper powder
  • A pinch of salt

For garnishing:

  • Spring Onions

 Steps to prepare:

  • In a pan, add 3 cups of water and bring it to a boil.
  • Add two packs of Maggi noodles and let them boil for two minutes.
  • Strain the water.
  • Add cold water to prevent overcooking of noodles.
  • Add one tsp. oil and mix.
  • In a pan, heat two tbsp oil, one tsp garlic, one tsp fresh red chilies, and sauté for thirty seconds.
  • Add one onion (thinly sliced), ¼ cup capsicum, ¼ cup carrot, and stir.
  • Add the cooked Maggi noodles and mix gently.
  • Add the Maggi tastemaker, one tbsp vinegar, one tbsp soy sauce, one tsp chili sauce, ¼ tsp black pepper powder, and a pinch of salt.
  • Stir fry for a minute.
  • Sprinkle spring onion on top.
  • Your restaurant-style Chinese Maggi is ready.

9. Egg Masala Maggi

Time to prepare: 15 minutes

Serves: 3

Ingredients:

  • Maggi Noodles: 2 Packets
  • Eggs – 2
  • Onions (Chopped) – 2 medium size
  • Tomatoes (chopped) – 2 medium size
  • Green Chili – 2
  • Coriander Leaves: 1/5 cup
  • Meat Masala Powder: 1/2 tsp.
  • Turmeric Powder: 1/4 tsp. (optional)
  • Red Chili Powder – 1/4 tsp. (optional)
  • Salt – 1/4 tsp.
  • Cooking Oil – 2-3 tbsp.

Steps to prepare

  • Turn on the flame and heat oil.
  • Add green chilies, onions, and stir for three to four minutes.
  • Add tomatoes and fry for three to four minutes till it turns soft.
  • Add a pinch of salt.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, chicken masala powder/ Kitchen King Masala and cook it on a slow flame.
  • Crack the eggs in the pan.
  • Stir on medium flame and make a bhurji.
  • Add Maggi tastemaker and stir.
  • Add two cups of water, stir, and increase the gas.
  • Add Maggi noodles and bring to a boil.
  • Once cooked, sprinkle coriander on top.

Your yummy egg masala Maggi is ready.

10. Cheesy Soupy Maggi

Ingredients:

  • 1 Maggi noodle
  • 1 Maggi tastemaker
  • One green chili (chopped)
  • ¼ cup cabbage (thinly chopped)
  • One slice cheese
  • Salt (as per taste)

 Steps To Prepare:

  • Boil one cup of water in a pan.
  • Add a pinch of salt when your water boils.
  • Then add the green chilies, cabbage, and Maggi tastemaker. Let it boil for two to three minutes.
  • Add the Maggi noodles and cook till done.
  • Add a slice of cheese and turn off the flame.
  • Cover your pan with a lid.
