So add these superfoods to your diet and keep your brain up and running:

OMEGA 3 Fats

Omega3 fats are also known as the good fats. They are crucial to adult brain health and also play an important role in the development of the fetal brain. Fatty fish like sardine, tuna, mackerel are the richest sources of these fats. Not a big fan of fish? Opt for vegetarian sources of omega3 precursors such as Flaxseeds, flaxseed oil, walnuts.

Having wholegrain cereals such as oats, wheat, etc ensures a steady supply of energy to the brain. Whole grains are probably the best superfood for the brain. The whole grain fiber helps in the gradual release of glucose into the bloodstream. It keeps the energy from dipping and keeps fatigue & mood swings at a good distance. So, you should include green colored food in addition to above-mentioned foods. Research suggests that people who have more amount of green vegetables in their daily diet show a slower rate of cognitive decline as compared to people who have fewer vegetables.
