And with all these questions in mind, you might leave the article even before you start reading it or finish reading it. But I would suggest you stop, pause and calm down a little bit and try reading it again. You might be missing something very interesting and helpful.

Mystic Law:

Happiness is not a life without problems, but rather the courage to overcome the problems that come our way. There is no such thing as a problem – free life; difficulties are inevitable. However, the manner in which we experience and react to our problems depends on us. We can never find happiness if we don’t challenge our weakness and change from within.

Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo is the law that permeates all life and the universe. It is the lotus sutra. The first step in Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism. It is through this practice that we all can achieve peace and enlightenment, so as to enhance the quality of humankind. Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo literally translates to: “I devote my life to the Mystic Law of cause and effect.”
The Mystic Law is the natural principle governing the workings of life in the universe.

Brief History:

Around 13th Century the Buddhist sage Nichiren Daishonin, after intensive study of different Buddhist sutras, concluded that Lotus Sutra is the conclusive teaching of Shakyamuni Buddha. The Lotus Sutra asserts the inherent equality and dignity of all people and, indeed, of all life.
Nichiren Daishonin crystallized the teachings of the Lotus Sutra into a palpable philosophy and established a practice suitable for everyone. The Soka Gakkai International has made this philosophy obtainable to millions of people around the world.

What Exactly Are We Looking At :

So, it is the practice of Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism which can lead one to the path of Buddhahood and enlightenment. We are all born with Buddha nature within us. The practice helps us to elevate the Buddha nature. While one is involved in the practice, one truly works for the happiness of one’s own self and happiness of others. Nichiren truly believes that if one can find true inner happiness, one can find joy in one’s surroundings as well.

Whether life conditions are bad or good, the individual always finds a way to sustain positivity and joy. The practice of Nichiren Buddhism empowers us to overcome our weakness and face our problems with great strength. This will transform our karma and it’ll enrich the quality of our lives.

Practicing Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism does not mean conversion to another religion. It is perfectly all right to continue performing the daily prayers and continue the traditions that you’ve been following for years. Buddhism is a practice which helps you to achieve peace and harmony in humankind and inner peace of an individual. It is the utter belief in the power of the universe.

So, we have to chant Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo to eradicate our karmas. But, Buddhism is not just chanting or repeating it anytime or anywhere. No. There is a proper organization, which is called the Soka Gakkai International (SGI).

Soka Gakkai International:

The Soka Gakkai International (SGI) is a  Buddhist organization with more than 12 million members in 182 different countries and territories worldwide. The SGI movement has its roots in the teachings of Nichiren Daishonin, a Buddhist monk, who lived in 13th-century, Japan. He based the lotus sutra on the studies and teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha.

Now, Indian expressarises,, why do we have to be a part of this organization? One is supposed to be part of this organization because the practice is for the happiness of one’s own self and others. And through various activities of Soka Gakkai, we work together as a family and achieve the ultimate goal of world peace and happiness. It is always better when, together everyone prays for everyone, rather than for our own selves. It’s all about selflessness and joy. There is a lot to this practice, which one can understand only after being a part of it.
Bharat Soka Gakkai (BSG), the Indian venture of an International Buddhist association, has held a building ground for peace here.

A lot of other questions would have popped up in your heads because of the article. I would be happy to address these questions.

I would just say that my name is Apoorva, and I am a literature student and I am starting starting with this blogging thing because I want to not just aware the world with unknown and new facts, but learn more myself and express all those thoughts and feelings, which stays hidden. To say some things which can't be expressed directly. I am simple girl who wants to look aloof in the crowd and I believe that I have something special in me and it's not just within me it's within you as well and we all need to find it and give it a direction. I hope that I'll able to give you all whatever I have. As nobody is perfect and I am also not and I don't want to be either cause being perfect is like being in equilibrium and when you gain equilibrium their is no use of living. Everyday should be challenging and adventurous. And I guess being perfect is totally boring. If you feel that their is something missing or their a problem, you are always welcome to complaint and compliment cause I believe that their is no age to learning and we should learn new things everyday. My soul honors your soul. I honor the place in you where the entire universe resides. I honor the light, love, truth because it is also within me. In sharing these things we are united, we are the same, we are one. KEEP BLOGGING KEEP READING
