These Milkshake Recipe Will Help You Boost Your Nutrients!

I am sure mom’s and kid’s out there can relate to this! Every mother has heard these lines for many a times i n their life. But when children deny milk being a mother you need to make sure they are healthy. So here we have various milkshake recipes to make sure they drink milk.

I have been on the same place, I too hate milk! I always need to close my nose and drink the milk because I cannot ignore the nutrient boost in them. And my mother also doesn’t allows me to ignore it.

But what if someone doesn’t have the enzyme to digest milk?

Let me explain this,

Some people start vomiting after drinking milk, some of them end up getting diarrhea.

That’s not because of ‘liking of disliking milk’. It is because of Lactose.

Milk has its natural sugar called as ‘Lactose’.

This sugar needs an enzyme called as ‘Lactase’ to digest in the body.

The people who end up getting vomiting or stomach upset after drinking milk do not have this enzyme in their body!

Those people are termed as ‘Lactose Intolerant’.

So, does lactose intolerant mean that they can never get good nutrients which otherwise we get from the milk?

Well, certainly not!

I have some most interesting recipes for the people who cannot digest milk and the people (Like me!) who cannot tolerate the smell!

Milkshakes that can help you.

Almond Milkshake

      Serves: – 4

Name of the ingredient           Quantity
Raw Almonds1 cup
Water6 cups
Vanilla Extract1 tbsp.
Honey3 tbsp.
SaltA pinch


Method: –

  • In a bowl, soak 1 cup of raw almonds in 2 cups of water and keep it overnight.
  • Remove the water from the bowl and place the almonds in a blender.
  • Add 1 tbsp. vanilla extract, 3 tbsp. honey, a pinch of salt & 4 cups of water to the blender.
  • Blend the mixture for about 2 minutes.
  • Use a muslin cloth to strain the liquid into a pouring container.
  • You can refrigerate it for 1-2 hours or serve immediately.

Pista Milkshake

     Serves: – 4

Name of the ingredient           Quantity
Pista1 cup
Water4 cups
Vanilla Extract1 tbsp.
Honey3 tbsp.
SaltA pinch


Method: –

  • Place the cracked pistachios in a blender.
  • Add 1 tbsp. vanilla extract, 3 tbsp. honey, a pinch of salt & 4 cups of water to the blender.
  • Blend the mixture for about 2 minutes.
  • Use a muslin cloth to strain the liquid into a pouring container.
  • You can refrigerate this milkshake recipe for 1-2 hours or serve immediately.

Hazelnut Milkshake with Choco flavor

          Serves: – 4

Name of the ingredient           Quantity
Raw Hazelnuts1 cup
Water6 cups
Vanilla Extract1 tbsp.
Honey2 tbsp.
SaltA pinch
Raw cocoa powder2 tbsp.


Method: –

  • In a bowl, soak 1 cup of raw hazelnuts in 2 cups of water and keep it overnight.
  • Remove the water from the bowl and place the almonds in a blender.
  • Add 1 tbsp. vanilla extract, 2 tbsp. honey, 2 tbsp. of cocoa powder, a pinch of salt & 4 cups of water to the blender.
  • Blend the mixture for about 2 minutes.
  • Use a muslin cloth to strain the liquid into a pouring container.
  • You can refrigerate it for 1-2 hours or serve immediately.

Pecan-choco Milkshake

Serves: – 4

Name of the ingredient           Quantity
Raw Pecans1 cup
Water6 cups
Vanilla Extract1 tbsp.
Honey1 tbsp.
SaltA pinch
Raw cocoa powder1 tbsp.

Method: –

  • In a bowl, soak 1 cup of raw pecan in 2 cups of water and keep it overnight.
  • Remove the water from the bowl and place the pecans in a blender.
  • Add 1 tbsp. vanilla extract, 1 tbsp. honey, 1 tbsp. of cocoa powder, a pinch of salt & 4 cups of water to the blender.
  • Blend the mixture for about 2 minutes.
  • Use a muslin cloth to strain the liquid into a pouring container.
  • You can refrigerate it for 1-2 hours or serve immediately.
