5. Nuts

Peanuts, almonds, walnuts, pistachios, cashews, and other nuts are a great natural way to add to your pre-workout meal. Nuts are packed with healthy fats that will slowly boost your energy as you work out. If you soak them overnight, you can set off the germination process, which makes them easier to eat and digest. It also adds value to the nuts, so chewing on some of them before your routine could help you stay in the gym longer.
