1. The Door to Hell, Turkmenistan

This is a literal burning pool of lava in Turkmenistan’s Karakum Desert. It’s a natural gas crater of fire having the size of a football field which is burning for almost fifty years for now. It is officially known as “Darvaza Gas Crater”.

Reaching and visiting the door to hell is the priority list of the people who fight against all the odds to get to this place. Crater was created by a group of Soviet geologists drilling for oil in 1971.

The best time to visit here is at night , when the flames light up the night sky beautifully and for miles in a unique fire show. There is also a fantastic wild camping in the surrounding desert Karakum.

2. Salar De Uyuni, Bolivia

Located in the Southwest of Bolivia, this deeply frozen lake is the world’s largest salt flat, spanning 4086 square miles with 11 billion tonnes of salt. 70% of world’s lithium reserves are found in here, underneath the cemented salt.

This place indeed is a breathtakingly beautiful and provides an extraordinary experience which makes everyone cherish this beauty for a lifetime. At particular times of the year when a layer of water covers the surface it transforms the salt flats into a stunning reflection of the sky.

The best months to visit this place is July and October and it is mandatory to carry warm stuff together to enjoy these attractions to the fullest without getting sick. Not only this place, but the hotels here also gives you the proper feel of the place and are extremely attractive.

The building of these hotels are built from bricks of cemented salt; the beds, the tables, etc all are constructed from blocks of salt. It is the best place for capturing the best shots ever : the best photographic destination.

3. Kuang Si Falls, Laos

Located in the Luang Prabang, Kuang Si Falls is the most breathtaking cascades of water and a popular tourist attraction. The blue water comes out to be a great place for swimming for both the locals and the tourists.

If you don’t fancy a swim then you could probably relax in the shade nearby and watch other people enjoying water. The journey to this will also take you through the beautiful rice fields and also make you meet numerous localites on the way.

The weather at the waterfalls is extremely cool and is the best way to escape the heating atmosphere of the cities. One of the most amazing views of the falls is captured from the wooden footbridge that stretches out above the lower pools.

Lake Baikal, by the depth and by volume, is the world’s largest lake. It is about 626 km long and 96 km wide. There’s a freshwater lake and is immensely free from salt contents. It is the largest lake around 1/5th of the freshwater of the world is found in here.

This beautiful location is also called “The Pearl of Russia”.

It is situated in the south-eastern part of the Russia region of Siberia. Temperature fluctuations here can be as low as -19 degree Celsius from December to February. The water inside is so transparent and clear that on a good day one could see more than 130 feet down (39 m).

This beautiful place is home to many unique species of plants and animals. These species are unique to this place and huge in number with approximately 1700 to 1800 plant and animal species.

5. Grand Prismatic Spring, USA

Located in Wyoming, USA, it is the largest hot spring in the Yellowstone National park (in USA). It is located in the midway geyser basin with approximately 160 feet depth and 370 feet in diameter. In the middle of the hot spring, the water is at burning temperatures and cools down when we move towards the edges of the spring.

It posseses an amazing color combination which matches the rainbow dispersion. It disperses itself into various colors like deep red, fierce orange, dazzling yellow, green and deep blue which gives the proper feel of a real time geyser. No bacteria is able to survive in the midst of such hot water.
It is one of the best natural sight for amazing photography and the main motive behind visiting this natural beauty of many is the same.

6. Torres del Paine National Park, Chile

8. Ice caves, Mutnovsky, Russia

Near the Mutnovsky volcano in Russia there is an amazingly distinctive cave discovered by the scientists. It’s distinctiveness lies in the fact that it is an icy cave.

The inside of the cave appears astonishingly beautiful when sunlight enters into the walls covered with ice which turns it into dispersion of rainbow colors. Everytime of dispersion brings in different shades of colors and give it different patches of looks sometimes floral too.

It posesses beautiful tunnels covered with melted glaciers all over. Tourists can visit this place quite easily as climbing upto here needs no particular training. And spending just a few hours here will make you get to see every beauty of the nature which you might have longed for long.
